Witney Ridge
Real Source functioned as principal and developer of Witney Ridge. Witney Ridge is a 78 unit planned residential development which has a mix of 25 townhomes, 36 garden homes, and 17 estates homes started in 1999. Real Source undertook all responsibilities for the project, from acquisition through sales. Real Source undertook significant topographical site changes to maximize utility of site and views. Additional land was combined with the parent tract so that Real Source could modify zoning which allowed for Planned Residential Development (PRD) zoning. This attention to opportunity availed Real Source the ability to redefine use restrictions (including setbacks) which allowed the excellent success of the empty-nester portion (garden homes) built by Lee Roland and the townhome section by Classic Communities, Inc. Comprehensive covenants and restrictions have reinforced the upscale nature of the project. Construction by builders such as Heritage Builders, Harry Smith, Jim Mumper and Lee Roland in the estate section has assured the quality of the end product. The neighborhood is located in Upper Allen Township (Cumberland County) and enjoys terrific views across the Yellow Breeches Basin and into Northern York County. |
